GROUP STUDIES
These are studies in which people who have problems with common or similar themes come together in a professional environment and receive psychological and social support within a framework with certain rules and boundaries.
In psychological support groups, where problems, stress factors and difficulties are combined, people experience acceptance, empathy, and permission to receive and give support. Group work helps people gain different coping skills to solve their problems by reminding them that they are not alone, along with a sense of belonging.
Group work can be achieved not only with participants who share a common emotional ground, but also with the partnership that comes from being together as a result of life circumstances such as sharing a workplace or a common traumatic experience. Taking into account the needs of the group, studies can be carried out on topics such as traumatic intervention, stress and anxiety management, communication skills, coping styles or psycho-educational intervention.
We believe that, like individual therapy, group work is a part of a person's journey to self. When you want to work on issues that challenge you with people who have similar difficulties to you, we are here to be a part of the group with a candela in our hand.
